Paper Abstract

We describe work that will enable the comparison of collected data to beam propagation models. Optical and meteorological data will be collected during an electro-optical field campaign. Turbulence and aerosol extinction play a critical role in the maritime environment of Navy vessels, and observed extinction estimates would serve to determine model fidelity in a shipboard engagement scenario.
