Paper Abstract

The particle model presented here is able to explain the structure of leptons and quarks without reference to quantum mechanics. In particular, it is able to explain quantitatively the existence of inertial mass without any use of a Higgs field. - An essential difference to the Standard Model of present-day particle physics is the fact that in the model presented, particles are viewed as being not point-like but extended. In addition it becomes apparent that the strong force is the universal force that is effective in all particles.
