Paper Abstract
We show numerical simulation results of three different timing synchronization methods in Optical Orthogonal
Frequency Division Multiplexing (OOFDM) system using
Intensity-Modulation and Direct-Detection (IM/DD) in
Multi-Mode Fiber (MMF) channel and do comparative study of the three algorithms. Based on Park's algorithm, we
present a modification to it that can obtain higher time estimation accuracy in OOFDM system using IM/DD.
