Paper Abstract

Landslide is one of the major natural hazards. It is difficult not only to get the integrated and accurate landslide datum but also to monitor and predict the landslide. This paper presents a case study on the use of terrestrial laser scanner (TLS) for monitoring landslides in Jingyang, Shanxi, China. The TLS points cloud obtained in the study area is processed by existing software, and the experimental results show that TLS is an effective way in monitoring of landslides.
