Switching dynamics of nonlinear Fabry-Perot in visible spectral range induced by UV pulse

Paper Abstract

Switching of thin-film semiconductor Fabry-Perot with the resonance in visible region by short UV pulse is demonstrated. Design of reconfigurable optical switch with wavelength conversion is discussed. Visualization and analysis of the fine-structured UV images are possible, and resolution of the system for detecting minor local differences of object and etalon images can be increased to submicron range.
