Paper Abstract
A novel header recognition scheme using variable keyword generator and optical logic XOR gate with loop is proposed.
The proposed optical header recognition is realized all-optically, and is expected to operate in over 40 Gbps. The
simulation results show its feasibility to recognize bit patterns of header at 10 Gbit/s and beyond.
