Paper Abstract
In this work, we propose a method to control distortion fluctuation in 3D wavelet based video coding.
A novel technique of assigning priorities to temporal subbands at different levels are used to smoothen the temporal PSNR. The wavelet filter properties are explored and an optimum criterion is derived to reduce the distortion fluctuation.
