Paper Abstract

In the paper the significance and possibility of lateral mobility measurements of different components in biological membranes is discussed as well as different techniques of such measurements such as laser fluorescence microphotolysis (FM) (or method of fluorescence recovery after photobleaching (FRAP)). Some limitations concerning this method are also presented. Short revue of results already acquired is presented concerniri the mobility measurement of some chosen lipids ATPase melittin and some selected surface antigens of plasmatic membranes in living cells.
