Paper Abstract

Detecting man-made objects concealed in dense foliage is an ongoing challenge in military imaging. There is a need to detect, recognize and classify objects and background. Wavelets will be combined with spectral derivatives to detect the 'red edge' to distinguish between foliage and camouflaged man-made objects.
