Paper Abstract

Under 400~800W/cm2 1315?m CW laser irradiations, the distortion of multi-layered dielectric coatings deposited on silicon crystal and/or fused silica substrates is tested by a Shack-Hartmann wave-front technique. Take account of the influence of environmental noises and air convections, the thermal absorption of the coatings is assessed from the CW thermal conduction equations and the thermo-elastic equations.
