Excimer laser cutting of corneal transplants

Paper Abstract

A simple laboratory set-up for cutting the round transplants of the cornea is described. An excimer ArF laser served as the ablating 193 nm radiation source. The results of the first experiments to produce some cylindrical and segmental transplants are presented.
