Paper Abstract

This is an extended abstract of a report on our ongoing development of a field instrument for long-path diode array (LPDA) differential optical absorption spectroscopy (DOAS) measurements of trace tropospheric constituents. We discuss the pros and cons of using intensified detectors and fiber optics, new spectrograph designs and a coaxial telescope arrangement for projection and reception of the analyzing beam.
