Paper Abstract

A review is made of some of the Microsystems Laboratory research on new classes of computers. These are broken into four classes, number based, group theory based, wave based and biologically based, and include Fibonacci, p-adic, elliptic curve, permutation, soliton, microfluidic, neural type, neuron chip, and protein based computers. A table is included in which each class is summarized.
