New variants of the multisurface theory of plasticity: comparison with the experimental data

Paper Abstract

A modification of the multisurface theory of plasticity with one active surface of equal plastic compliances was executed. While the modification a character of a loading path was taken into consideration. The constitutive equation give the possibility to make a prediction calculations when either loading or strain path (in whole strains) is known. Also the modification of structural model was executed. The predictions of theories were compared with test results (both authors' and known from publications) of two-parameter loading on steel and copper tubular specimens. The calculations using one surface theory of plasticity with kinematical hardening were also made. Last results were in worse agreement with experimental data than the other theories predictions.
