Paper Abstract

A detailed study of the lasing of a promising surgical 1.44 micrometers Nd:YAG laser was done. This wavelength provides practically the same effects in laser emission - tissue as compared to 2 micrometers holmium lasers, but demonstrates the better operation in a high average power, high pulse repetition rate mode. The physical properties of the laser are discussed to solve the problem of the increasing the efficiency of operation.
