Experimental study of a DC-excited slab CO2 laser discharge

Paper Abstract

The suitability of a slab-shaped dc-excited discharge as active medium of a compact high power carbon-dioxide laser is investigated. Measurements of several plasma and laser parameters indicate the effectiveness of the adopted discharge stabilization technique.
