Simulation of a vortex optical beam propagation in a direct and location path in turbulent atmosphere

Paper Abstract

Results of numerical simulation of a vortex laser beam propagation reflected by a flat mirror at different intensity of optical turbulence in the atmospheric are presented. The relative variance of fluctuations of mean intensity in the cross section of the beam is analyzed. It is found that the strength of the optical turbulence increase, the fluctuations of mean intensity to the edge of the beam decrease for the reflected beam than that for the beam having pass double distance in the direct path.
