Paper Abstract
Cognitive radios (CR) are designed in order to provide highly reliable communication for all users of the network,
wherever and whenever needed and to facilitate effective utilization of the radio spectrum. In this paper, we analyzed
local spectrum sensing for various fading channel scenario and also analyzed conventional cooperative spectrum sensing. We simulated various performance analysis for Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN), Rayleigh fading and
cooperative spectrum sensing.
