Paper Abstract
A model of formation of the sea water fluorescence intensity of dissolved organic matter vertical stratification I(z) is proposed. It allows us to explain the increasing I with z depth on the horizons situated below photic zone. The influence of different hydrophysical characteristics on the I(z) dependence and comparison with experimental data are considered.
