Paper Abstract

The realization of a small scale optical radar as a 3D range imaging sensor for auto-vehicle guidance, based on a dual-wave-length phase comparison range finder, is described in this paper. The range accuracy of 40 mm can be achieved within the operation range of 20 meters, utilizing the commercially available optoelectronic elements.
