Biometric fingerprint accessory for iPod Touch

Fulcrum Biometrics

The FbFTM mobileOne is a portable biometric fingerprint collection accessory specially designed for the iPod touch (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations). The mobileOne docks with the iPod touch using a secure yet removable cradle or sleeve allowing the iPod to be docked or undocked rapidly and easily. The mobileOne connects to and securely communicates with the iPod through the Apple 30 pin connector.

Features include:

  • Durable shell constructed of ABS Plastic
  • Easily removable cradle for docking and undocking the iPod
  • FIPS201/PIV certified fingerprint scanner
  • Durable fingerprint scanner rated for +1,000,000 touches
  • Automatic fingerprint detection (autocapture)
  • Compact, lightweight and portable
  • Integrated finger guide

By using the powerful native features of the iPod touch, developers can rapidly develop and deploy secure mission specific applications for simple or sophisticated users alike using the mobileOne. When used for biometric authentication as part of an overall security program, the mobileOne helps reduce the hassles of password overload, decrease the risks of security breaches, improve accountability and add true non-repudiation for products that integrate its fingerpint identification capability.
