In-vivo, real time imaging of soft tissue

Michelson Diagnostic

The VivoSight imaging system uses Multi-Beam OCT technology to image up to 2mm into tissue. The soft tissue probe is a new product which enables this technology to be used not just for skin but for soft tissue in oral and gynaecological cavities. Applications of VivoSight include non-melanoma skin cancer assessment and delineating tumour margins prior to surgery.

The VivoSight imaging system can be used to:

  • Visualize cancer tumour microstructure
  • Delineate tumour margins
  • Image in 2D and 3D
  • All with a light, sterile, easy to use probe

The VivoSight OCT scanner has CE and 510(k) clearance for use to aid clinical judgments in the field of dermatology. Regulatory compliance for the additional soft tissue probe is pending.
