First Nufern Fiber Laser Time Period: c. 2002 Technology Represented: Fiber laser
This is one of the earliest fiber lasers sold by Nufern. It was developed in 2002 with first generation Aluminosilicate large mode area (LMA) fibers. It is a resonator cavity consisting of a pump coupler (tapered fiber bundle), a fiber Bragg reflector, the active Yb doped fiber coil (you can already see the first versions of the patented reverse coiling mechanism), and an FBG output coupler. Simple yet effective, this architecture is still used today.

SCANLAB intellicube 10 Time Period: c. 2010 Technology Represented: Deflection and Positioning of Laser Beams
As a direct beneficiary of SCANLAB's years of experience in laser scanning, the intellicube 10 meets the industry's need of an exceptionally compact and highly flexible scan head. Based on the latest digital driver technology, the intellicube 10 offers superior dynamics and realtime monitoring of all key operational states. Among others the actual positions and speeds of the beam steering mirrors, temperatures, drive currents or supply voltages can be monitored. Marking speed: approx. 800 characters/second.
