What I do.
I plan and coordinate research for the solar technology space within GE. This includes Silicon materials, solar cells and modules, thin film photovoltaics, photovoltaic inverters, electrical systems, and systems/controls development.

What I find exciting.
It is great to know that something you are working on will actually make the world a better place and bring a higher quality of life to many people.

What I wish someone had told me.
That as long as you are doing something that you are passionate about, you will be successful. I think it is easy to worry about the opportunities in a certain space, but energy, enthusiasm, and hard work can make opportunities happen.
