How do you spend a typical day?
Helping my research students, preparing lectures, looking for sources for research funding.

What (if anything) would you change?
I would not change anything about my job.

What advice would you give to someone starting their career?
If they have a graduate degree then I would suggest publishing as many papers on the thesis work as possible. If you can, always try to find a contact within the organization as this will make job finding easier.
