How do you spend a typical day?
In conference with foreign dignitaries or in planning a trip to visit them. Reviewing contracts, meetings on high technology projects. I read a lot of articles and books on ethics, Human Resources Management, global economic issues, and write letters, articles, or papers for publication.

What do you love about your job?
Nurturing employees and kids to more critical thinking jobs and/or createing entrepreneurs.

What have you learned through experience that you wish you had known before starting your career in optics?
How vast and fundamental it is to everything from defense, health, entertainment and the cosmic universe on a philosophical level.
