SPIE is launching a new online peer-reviewed journal focusing on photonics for sustainable energy and the environment: Photonics for Energy and the Environment (PhEE).
An editor-in-chief and editorial board are being confirmed, and details will be announced soon.
Aims and Scope
Photonics for Energy and the Environment is an online journal that publishes peer-reviewed papers focusing on research and development in sustainable energy sources, energy-efficient technologies, and applications for the environment using optics and photonics.
Topics under the journal's purview include solar and other alternative energy sources; energy-efficient materials and devices, such as photovoltaics, concentrators, displays, and solid-state lighting; and technologies for environmental monitoring and sustainability.
