2010 Best Paper Awards


Photonic Devices + Applications Best Student Paper Award
 •We are pleased to announce that a cash prize of $1,000 US will be awarded to the best student paper in this symposium.
 •Qualifying student papers will be evaluated by the award committee.
 •To be eligible, you must be a student without a doctoral degree, listed as an author on an accepted paper within Photonic Devices + Applications, submit your manuscript online by 30 June, conduct the majority of the work being presented, and be the presenter of the paper.
 •To be considered, send self-nominations via email to Jen Lowell no later than 31 May 2010. Include your paper number and paper title.
 •The winner will be announced during the Photonic Devices + Applications Plenary Session.

Organic Photovoltaics Best Graduate Student Poster Award
 •To qualify for the award, the winner must be a graduate student with an accepted paper in conference OP213.
 •If you would like to be considered for this award, please include "Consider for Best Graduate Student Poster Award" in the 250-word abstract submitted for review.
 •The requirements for the award will include presenting an accepted paper at the OP213 Conference and submitting your paper on time for publication.
Infrared and Photoelectronic Detectors and Imagers Best Industrial Paper Award
 •To qualify for the award, the winner must be from industry with an accepted paper in conference OP218.
 •If you would like to be considered for this award, pease include "Consider for Best Industrial Paper Award" in the 250-word abstract submitted to OP218 for review.
 •The requirements for the award will include presenting an accepted paper at the OP218 Conference and submitting your paper on time for publication.
Infrared and Photoelectronic Detectors and Imagers Best Government Paper Award
 •To qualify for the award, the winner must be from the government with an accepted paper in conference OP218.
 •If you would like to be considered for this award, please include "Consider for Best Government Paper Award" in the 250-word abstract submitted to OP218 for review.
 •The requirements for the award will include presenting an accepted paper at the OP218 Conference and submitting your paper on time for publication.
