Kodak Unveils OLED Wireless Frame

Eastman Kodak Co. is launching the first digital, wireless picture frame featuring organic light emitting diode (OLED) technology for the consumer market. The frame, which has an ultra-thin, 7.6-inch diagonal digital panel that produces crisp image detail regardless of viewing angle, will retail for $999 starting in November.

The OLED Wireless Frame incorporates an ambient light sensor that optimizes the viewing experience by adjusting display brightness based on the surrounding light. Company officials said the device will have built-in Wi-Fi, memory card reader, and USB port and 2 GB of built-in internal memory.
