Portable Particle Counter

Particle Measuring Systems has just released its new portable aerosol particle counter, the Lasair III. The on-board Pulse Height Analyzer (PHA) ensures ISO 21501 compliance. The large IR touch-screen controls and intuitive user interface make the system very easy to use. The particle counter's rugged enclosure is chemically resistant and lightweight for portability. The enclosure also has a streamlined design that minimizes particle traps and makes the system easy to clean.

This counter is available in 1 CFM and 50 LPM flow rates from 0.3 to 25 µm size particles. The 100 LPM flow rate is suitable for monitoring 0.5 to 25 µm size particles. With the new 100 LPM flow rate, you can sample one cubic meter in only 10 minutes. This comprehensive unit is ISO 21501 and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant.

The Lasair III particle counter may also be accessed remotely via a web browser for use in cleanrooms, has a built in thermal printer, stores 3000 samples, and has a lithium ion battery that lasts four to seven hours.
