General Returns Policy
You may return most items returned in new condition within 30 days of the shipment date for a full refund. Please include the original order number or packing slip. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), SPIE will issue a call tag to have the item picked up for return.
Please note that if there is anything wrong with your order, you must contact Customer Service within 30 days of the shipment date.
Timeframe
- Proceedings, Press, Proceedings on CDRom, Educational DVDs, Videos and CDRoms must be returned within 30 days from the date the order was shipped.
- Authorized Resellers: May return Proceedings, Press and CDRom Proceedings within 1 year from the date the order was shipped. Other items such as Educational DVDs, Videos and CDRom must be returned within 30 days.
Items Not Accepted for Return
- Any item received in damaged, worn or used conditions
- Downloadable products (paper proceedings, journals, online courses, etc.)
- Any items returned more than 30 days after delivery
