• Locate the conference you are interested in and click on the conference title to submit your full draft paper by 1 September 2008.

Thank you to all who submitted a draft paper to ISOT 2008. Submissions are now closed, and acceptance notifications were sent to all contact authors.

Prepare and Submit your Final Summary and Paper

Official notifications were sent to the contact author on 22 September 2008. For all accepted papers, authors are required to submit a final summary and final paper by 1 October 2008.

Final Summary
DEADLINE: 1 October 2008
For all accepted papers, authors are required to send a one-page PowerPoint summary describing the contribution of their paper. Download template.

Please send your final summary via email to the ISOT Publications Chair:

The subject line should read "ISOT Final Summary for [insert your paper number]"

Final summaries will be published with the printed Final Program for distribution at the meeting.

Final Paper
DEADLINE: 1 October 2008
See mansucript guidelines. While simultaneously preparing your presentation and planning your trip to San Diego, you should be writing the final full-length paper for publication in the Proceedings of SPIE.

Papers in Proceedings of SPIE CD-ROM will be published as downloadable PDFs online in the SPIE Digital Library, and are indexed in INSPEC, Physics Abstracts, Ei Compendex, Chemical Abstracts, International Aerospace Abstracts, ISI's Index to Scientific and Technical Proceedings, and the NASA Astrophysical Data System.

Prepare to Present at the Conference

Official notification were sent to the contact author on 22 September 2008. For accepted presentations:

• If you need a travel visa, begin the visa application process immediately
• If needed, request an invitation letter for your visa application
• Review Oral Presentation Guidelines to prepare your presentation
• Book your hotel
• Register for the conference
• Review the program to confirm your presentation date and time (available in late October).
