Biography
Dr. Caulfield has received many awards from SPIE including the Gold Medal, The Gabor Award, Fellow, President's Award, and Governors' Award and is past editor of its flagship journal, Optical Engineering. His publications include 13 books, 40 book chapters, 255 refereed journal papers, and a number of popular articles including the 1984 National Geographic cover story on holography read by more than 25 million people. He has been written about in essentially all newsstand magazines on science, news, and business.
