    Plan to Attend

    On behalf of SPIE and the symposium organizers, we encourage you to participate in XI International Workshop on Adaptive Optics for Industry and Medicine in Arlington, Virginia (USA). This event is an interdisciplinary forum for collaboration and learning among top researchers and industrial partners in the field of adaptive optics.

    This workshop, eleventh in the series, will take place over three days, 6-8 September 2017. It will include both oral and poster presentations with a focus on wavefront sensing and correction devices, MEMs mirrors, liquid crystal SLMs, new technologies for correctors, control systems and strategies, systems, image sharpening, and novel lens technologies. Applications include microscopy, lasers, vision science, and communications. The event will also include a special session on new commercial products.     The symposium will be held in the Hilton Arlington, which offers easy access to Washington DC and the Reagan National Airport via the connected Ballston Metro Station. Located in the vibrant Ballston neighborhood, the venue is also walking distance to local shopping and dining, and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
