Nominate a Colleague for Outstanding Achievements
SPIE presents several awards that recognize outstanding individual and team technical accomplishments and meritorious service to the Society. Nominations for an SPIE Award may be made through October 1 of any given year and are considered active for three years from the submission date. The only exceptions are the Early Career Achievement Award and the Joseph W. Goodman Book Writing Award, please follow the links below for nomination criteria on these two awards. Nominations must be accompanied by the following:
- Completed award nomination form.
- Brief citation stating the accomplishments that make the nominee deserving of this particular award.
- A one-page narrative description of the significant aspects of the nominee's career.
Curriculum vitae listing educational background, positions held, publications, awards, honors, activities and offices held within the Society. - A minimum of two (2) letters of reference from other than the nominator. Diversity of support is preferred; not all letters of recommendation should come from nominee's organization.
