    Invitation

ICOAM 2015 will provide a forum for scientists, whose work relates to optical angular momentum, aiming to identify new developments and directions in the field, both at the fundamental and applied levels. Optical angular momentum has received recent and significant interest in a myriad of scientific fields ranging from from optical fiber, free space, and quantum communication to optical trapping and super-resolution imaging. Optical angular momentum will inevitably be at the foundation of our society's future technologies.

We will have a diverse and exciting program including sessions on optical orbital angular momentum phenomenology, vortices in optical, electron, matter waves and cold atoms, fundamental test of quantum mechanics, applications in optical fiber, free space, and quantum communication, quantum cryptography, quantum imaging, super-resolution imaging, and optical trapping and micro-manipulation. ICOAM 2015 will be held in concert with the Sixth International Conference on Metamaterials, Photonic crystals, and Plasmonics, the United Nations sponsored 2015 International Year of Light, and the week before SPIE Optics and Photonics in San Diego, CA.
