In June 2016 I completed my Master of Technology in Optical Engineering and also obtained a one year internship at Space Applications Center (SAC), Ahmadabad (Indian Space Research Organization). This has given me a range of theoretical and practical capabilities that will meet the needs of this role.
After completion of my Master of Technology studies I started working with an Indian startup Nayam Innovations as Junior Optical Scientist. My responsibility in this role is to develop Adjustable (customize) Intraocular Lens. This position has given me key employability skills while also allowing me to experience working in a professional and fast-paced work environment.
With regard to my ability to meet the specific requirements:
* Junior Optical Scientist: Simulation of various optical systems using Zemax, installation and alignment of simulated system, manufacturing and performance testing of intraocular lenses, customization of intraocular lens. Planing and development of electrical and mechanical systems used while R & D.
* Project Trainee: Investigations on design of miniature optical system for interplanetary missions using conventional and nonconventional system. In this project I worked on diffractive optics elements to miniaturize the conventional tricolor camera system using optical simulation software Zemax.
* Internship: Performance, efficiency and applications of medium and low voltage, wound rotor, AC & DC electric motors to operate in large mills, crushers, conveyors, ovens, and fans contained in cement industries.
My professors and supervisors have commended me for my high level of interpersonal skills and naturally engaging personality. My motivations include learning new things and the challenge of meeting key objectives.
