RP Optical Lab specializes in design and production of Optics and Electro Optical systems in thermal imaging for the defense, homeland security, commercial and medical markets.
Product lines include high performance zoom lenses at SWIR, MWIR & LWIR bands, Thermal Video Processing Engine, cooled / uncooled IR cameras and Multi-sensor systems.

IR LENSES Development and Production:
Over 50 different zoom lens models at MWIR, LWIR & SWIR + multispectral lenses.
In addition, many optically athermalized single FOV lenses, mainly in LWIR and SWIR.

IR CAMERAS Development & Production:
RP developed its own thermal video processing engine (TVPE) latest generation. Integrating its own zoom lenses + TVPE and a cooled detector, enabled RP to become a market leader in cooled IR cameras, having 2 out of 3 main MWIR cooled camera components designed and made in-house!

MULTY SENSOR systems:
Multiple sensors installed on a pan/tilt. Our systems contain our Thermal camera + SWIR camera + Day camera + LRF.
All modules are chosen to customer specification and integrated at RP.

Customized systems:
RP develops custom systems for various 1st tier customers, few examples:
• SOPS - XGA LWIR module, a part of a situational awareness & missile warning system mounted on armoured vehicles to detect incoming missile launches.
• ASMARYLLIS VIS-SWIR super long range zoom (500-2500mm focal length) for border security, over 100 units supplied.
• BrightNight Camera – HD LWIR situational awareness / flight module camera for helicopter pilots.
