I have worked in various fields like population dynamics, nuclear physics, biomedical physics, quantum optics, classical optics and microwave photonics.
Currently I am doing a PhD in Physics from ENS Paris-Saclay under Dr. Fabien Bretenaker on phase sensitive amplification of light. Apart from this I am also interested in other fields of research like nonlinear and quantum optics, wavelet analysis and other techniques of image processing.
In 2012 I received the KVPY scholarship from the government of India for demonstrating an innovative idea to trap light using total internal reflection of light. In 2014 I received the SPIE Optics and Photonics Education Scholarship for my contribution to the optics community. It helped me a lot to boost my research career and motivated me to take up research as a career. Later I also received the Charpak Internship scholarship and the DAAD-WISE funding for carrying out internships in Europe.
