My research expertise is related to developing novel optical microscopic and endoscopic techniques not only for biological issues, but also for clinical applications. During my Ph.D., I had focused on developing several spectroscopic imaging systems in terahertz frequencies. Shortly after having Ph.D., I had extended my research expertise into the area of biomedical optics and studied on three dimensional structures and dynamics of biological cells using laser interferometry and quantitative phase microscopy.
I am currently working as a postdoctoral research associate (PDRA) at the photonics group in the department of physics, Imperial College London. My research topic, which corresponds to one of Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) Healthcare Technology Challenges in Engineering (HTCE) projects, is related to developing novel adaptive multiphoton endomicroscopic techniques for real-world clinical applications.
