Dr. Yanyu Zhao

Yanyu Zhao received his B.S. degree (with Honor) in optoelectronic information engineering from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2012. He got his Ph.D. from Department of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University in 2018. He did postdoc training on photoacoustic imaging at California Institute of Technology. He became an associate professor at Beihang University in 2020. His research interests include quantitative diffuse optical imaging, photoacoustic imaging, hyperspectral imaging, and machine learning and deep learning for biomedical applications.
