Summary
Monas Shahzad, a Fulbright fellow, is associate professor in the Department of Physics at Forman Christian College, Lahore Pakistan. His primary research interest is to investigate optical properties of novel materials as hosts for surface plasmons in infrared region. Currently, his research project includes applications of nano plasmonics in photovoltaic and surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) using metal oxide nanoparticles and Graphene composite. He is author or coauthor of several publications in his field of expertise. He received his PhD in physics from University of Central Florida in 2012.
