Summary
Mark F. Spencer is a research physicist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, Directed Energy Directorate. He is also an adjunct assistant professor of optical sciences and engineering (OSE) at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Department of Engineering Physics. Mark received his BS in physics from the University of Redlands in 2008 and his MS and PhD in OSE from AFIT in 2011 and 2014, respectively. In addition to being a Senior Member of SPIE, he is a Regular Member of the Directed Energy Professional Society and the Optical Society of America. Mark is also a lifetime member of Tau Beta Pi, Phi Beta Kappa, and Omicron Delta Kappa honor societies.
