While attending Cincinnati State I worked in the Laser Center where I researched new equipment for purchase, repaired a laser marking system and a small 10 W argon laser. I also worked on a project to construct a chamber for material processing involving lasers. Between academic terms I have volunteered to help my instructors with various scientific outreach programs.
I have graduated from Cincinnati State as an Honors Scholar, with two Associates of applied Science degrees, one in laser applications, and the other with a focus on renewable energy. I was one of three students selected as a Distinguished Graduate of my division.
In the Fall of 2011 I started at the University of Dayton and was accepted in the University Honors Program.
