A PhD in Electrical Engineering with 20 journal publications and 2 patents, my area includes fiber optics, optical sensors and image processing. I was awarded by the SPIE Student Travel Grant, NEWPORT Spectra-Physics Research Excellence Awards and the 2nd Place in 57th International Instrumentation Symposium Student Paper Competition. My skills are listed as following:
-5 years’ experience on modeling, analysis, and fabrication of optical sensor design;
-5 years’ experience on development of optical fiber micro fabrication and test systems;
-5 years’ experience on trouble shooting and testing optical equipment and devices;
-5 years’ experience optical fiber related research and development projects;
-4 years' experience on medical image processing with C++ and Matlab;
-Proficiency in C++ and Matlab programming for skin cancer detection algorithm development;
-Familiar with motion control of optical platforms and large date computing (SAS);
-Software: C, Matlab/Simulink, LabVIEW, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PLC, RSoft, Zemax;
-Hardware: OSA, tunable laser, oscilloscope, NSOM, VNA, SEM, FIB, wet etching.
