Greg Forcherio is a M.S. student in the MicroElectronics-Photonics graduate program at the University of Arkansas. Greg Forcherio joined the Nano-Bio Photonics lab directed by Dr. D. Keith Roper in 2012 as a research assistant. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012 with a B.S. double majoring in Engineering Physics and Applied Mathematics. As an undergraduate, he conducted research in dual-nanoparticle systems (gold and ferrous oxide) for photo-magnetic-functionalized local drug delivery. In the summer of 2011, he worked at Purdue University under Dr. Mark S. Lundstrom as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow (SURF) researching residential photovoltaic economics.

His research interests include plasmonic metamaterials, optics, and self-assembly fabrication methods. He is currently working on his M.S. in MicroElectronics-Photonics with a path toward Ph.D.
