Principal Scientist in the Advanced Research & Development Group at LI-COR Biosciences, and a Graduate Adjunct Faculty in the School of Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Main research interests are atmosphere-biosphere interactions, and particularly, trace gases, energy and water exchange, atmospheric turbulence, radiation penetration and absorption, and various aspects of ecosystem geophysics.
Currently work on several research projects in order to better understand atmosphere, biosphere and soil interactions, and to develop new technologies, experimental systems and field techniques measuring these interactions in situ.
Graduate degree in Geoecology and Physical Geography at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia. Master’s degree in Micrometeorology at University of Nebraska. Ph.D. in Bio-Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
