Leader of a multi cultural team devoted to HW/SW embedded system design, with focus on multimedia video coding, decoding and transcoding as well as 3D and free viewpoint video, for consumer applications (STB, mobile, etc.).
Main activities managed:
• To lead, empower and develop a multicultural team spread across different countries around the world.
• To invent, patent and publish novel algorithms and architectures in the field of digital video processing (encoding, decoding and transcoding, 3D and Free Viewpoint Video).
• To develop, implement and map algorithms over new or existing architectures, increasing the added value of the company product portfolio.
