Doug E. Childers

I have over 20 years of experience in optical design and development. I am currently working on a variety of optical design projects at Quartus Engineering as the Optical Engineering Manager.

My experience includes designing and developing LED illumination systems, VR/AR/XR systems and near eye optics, concentrating optics for solar energy applications, projection systems (DLP, LCOS and LCD) for industrial and entertainment applications, remote sensing for applications such as land mine detection, LIDAR, biomedical optics and free space optics.
