Antonio Ramos is an Electrical Engineer born in the Cape Verde Islands currently living and working in Norway. He received his M.Sc. degree in Signal Processing from the Military Institute of Engineering (IME), Brazil in 2004 and his PhD degree from the University of Oslo (UiO), Norway, in 2015. Dr. Ramos is an Associate Professor at the University College of Southeast Norway (USN) where he teaches and conducts research in the fields of Signal Processing and Communications. His interests also include real-time systems implementation using both Digital Signal Processors and VHDL in which he has prepared and taught several professional courses both locally and abroad. In his free time Antonio likes to play his acoustical guitar and play soccer with his two kids.
